I haven't done anything crafty in awhile and was really itching to do so.
So, I decided to try and make some of the fabric pumpkins I had seen around on different blogs.
These were fairly easy to make and requires very little sewing skills.
All you need to do it cut out a circle from some fabric and stitch a gathering stitch all the way around the edge of the circle and pull to gather forming a bowl like shape and fill with fiberfill, heck Im sure you could even skip the fiberfill and used crumbled up news paper.
After you get the desired amount of filling, gather tightly and stitch, making sure to leaving a small opening for a stem. Glue the stem in with glue, I used my hot glue gun.
Then decorate to your liking, again gluing everything with my glue gun.. I cut the leaves and the spider from the doodlecharm cartridge, used a cuttlebug embossing folder on the leaves and ran in through the cuttlebug, inked all of them with brown ink and lightly brushed with Perfect Pearls. If you have any questions just leave me a comment and I wish gladly get back to ya!
